The FDA has set parameters for acceptable electronic data from clinical trials that are similar to their guidelines for physical copies of data. Patricia Rossman discusses these and other relevant regulations and guidelines, as well as methods for complying with said regulations and guidelines, in her article featured in SOCRA Source Journal.
Pharmaceutical Services Corporation (PSC) and PSC Clinical were recently appointed by the US Agency for International Development (USAID) to provide Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) training, auditing and other compliance services for the Jordanian Economic Development Project. Patricia Rossman, VP of Clinical Operations spoke on Location in Amman, Jordan, stating "Pharmaceutical Services Corporation is honored to represent USAID by working with several pharmaceutical companies as well as the Jordanian Association of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (JAPM) to increase pharmaceutical standards and compliance around the globe."
One of many proposal submissions, Pharmaceutical Services Corporation was selected due to its expanding global presence and years of compliance and regulatory experience in life science and biotechnology industries. With offices and resources around the world, PSC will be able to provide support at all times of the day and at any location.
USAID is the principal U.S. Agency that provides assistance to countries recovering from disaster, trying to escape poverty, and engaging in democratic reforms. An independent federal government agency, USAID receives overall foreign policy guidance from the Secretary of State, which supports the long-term and equitable economic growth and advances of foreign policy objectives.

From November 5h-7th, Pharmaceutical Services Corporation attended BioHouston's Texas Life Science Conference, which was held at The Brown Foundation Institute of Molecular Medicine in Houston Texas.. Texas Life Science Conference is Texas' premiere annual venture conference. Each year, cutting edge research and innovation is presented and showcased in this three day conference. Attendees of the conference include hundreds of national and local venture capitalists, life science companies, biotech start ups and many research institutions.
The San Antonio/Austin Life Science Association (SALSA) is an organization dedicated to promoting the life science industry in San Antonio and Austin. Monthly meetings are held to provide opportunities for life science, biotech and biomedical professionals to build relationships within the region. In attendence are local companies and individuals united in their efforts to encourage scientific growth in San Antonio and Austin.
This month's breakfst SALSA meeting speaker is Patti Rossman of PSC Clinical, who will be discussing various aspects of electronic clinical data management through her presentation, "Securing Electronic Data for Preclinical and Clinical Trials."
